"Hold it, poozer!"

"Hold it, poozer!"

"I... I can't!"

"Hold it!" Kilowog ordered, tightening his chain constructs.

After my small episode, Hal decided to call Laira and Kilowog to Earth to try and find a way to use my full abilities while still keeping control of my Ring.

Which leads me to my current situation... being chained down on the sand while the Team stands on the sidelines with Hal, John and Carol holding them back.

"Don't let your mind betray you, Zaria. Control it." Laira said, constructing even more chains around me and I glanced at Hal and Carol in panic. "The only thing that limits you is your mind."

"Are you sure this is necessary!?" Wally exclaimed and John nodded. "WHY!?"

"Reasons." Hal answered and looked away when Kilowog picked me up only to throw me back to the sand. "This is how we managed to get her to regain control last time."

"She's losing control of the Ring!?"

"Break my constructs, poozer." Kilowog said, throwing me to a boulder and I screamed out in pain. "Break them and fight me."

"I can't!" I cried.

"Can't or won't?"

"Won't." I admitted and Laira flew up and held my face.

"You were the one who took down Atrocitus without much effort, faced Krona to save the universe and saved your planet from a tyrant and now you cannot break a simple and weak construct?" She scoffed and punched me. "Pathetic."

"Watch it, Laira." Hal warned.

"Stop coddling her, Jordan. You seem to forget where you found her."

"Which is why I'm warning you to watch it... you weren't there."

"But I was." Kilowog butted, yanking the chains so I fell to my knees in front of him. "And I was in Ysmault with you. I know what she's capable of."

"That's not who I want to be." I said through gritted teeth and John rolled his eyes.

"What about Krona?"

"I lost control."

"Did you?"

"Yes."

"DID YOU!?"

"No..." I admitted and Laira grabbed me by the neck.

"Okay, this is just plain torture!" Dick yelled.

"Don't fight it, child." Laira whispered and wiped my tears. "It's okay... we're here to help you."

"Laira, I think it's time for a break." Carol called out and she let me go. "Baby steps, remember?"
