A/N: Don't be mad yall... Enjoy lol
The morning sunlight filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the living room where the remnants of the night's celebration still lingered. Family members were slowly waking, the house humming with quiet chatter, laughter, and the occasional clink of coffee mugs.
I sat next to Beyoncé on the couch, my new rose gold Patek watch gleaming on my wrist, still feeling the weight of the moment settle deep inside me. Blue bounced excitedly nearby, showing off her diamond tennis bracelet to anyone who'd look, her smile radiant and proud.
Beyoncé caught my eye and squeezed my hand gently. "There's one more gift I have for you," she said, her voice low, almost secretive. "But I want to give it to you... just us, later."
My curiosity piqued instantly. "Really? What is it?"
She just smiled—a slow, mysterious smile that made my heart skip. "You'll see."
I couldn't help but wonder what she had planned. The thought of a secret gift from Beyoncé made my chest tighten with anticipation and affection all at once. Maybe it was something personal, something meaningful just between us. Or maybe it was her way of reminding me how deeply she cared, beyond the sparkle of diamonds or the shine of a watch.
The rest of the day moved in a comfortable rhythm... Blue asking us to play games, family chatting in the kitchen, music softly playing in the background. But I found myself stealing glances at Beyoncé, watching how she lit up around Blue and how she looked at me with those eyes full of unspoken promises.
The house was alive with laughter and warmth. Blue was especially radiant, her face lighting up every time she glanced at the diamond tennis bracelet, I had gifted her. She was obsessed, showing it off proudly as she danced around the living room. Beyoncé and I exchanged quiet smiles, soaking in the joy around us and the sense of home we were building together.
The soft hum of conversations and holiday music filled every corner. Everyone was relaxed, happy, and the kind of content that made the world feel right.
Later in the day, Beyoncé slipped her hand into mine and gently pulled me aside from the buzz of family chatter. We moved to the bedroom near the window, where the soft afternoon light bathed us in gold.
She reached into her bag and produced a small, neatly wrapped box. My heart thudded unexpectedly as she offered it to me, her eyes searching mine with tenderness and something deeper... hope, maybe.
I hesitated, fingers trembling just a little, and peeled back the paper. Inside, resting in soft white cotton, lay a pregnancy test.
For a long moment, I just stared, the room seeming to hold its breath along with me. The world outside faded away until all that was left was the weight of that simple little object in my hands.
My breath caught somewhere between my lungs and my chest. I looked up at her with wide eyes, mouth slightly open. "Wait... is this for real?"
Beyoncé let out a soft laugh... not mocking, but full of emotion, like she had been holding her breath too. "It's very real."
I was still holding the pregnancy test in my hand like it might disappear if I blinked too long. My heart was pounding out a rhythm I couldn't quite catch up to, and Beyoncé she was just standing there, watching me with that soft, glowing smile that somehow made everything make sense and nothing make sense all at once.
"How?" I finally asked, almost breathless. "Like... how?"
Beyoncé tilted her head, gave me a slow, knowing look. Her eyebrow lifted just slightly, and that playful smirk curled at the corner of her lips.
