You're tired, having gotten no sleep in the night. Your mind was occupied with thoughts of the missing people. If you're right (which is highly likely) the Saja Boys have been stealing people and their souls, which is the cause of the missing people.

On one hand, it's horrible that their families will likely never know where they've gone. But on the other hand, these demons do need to feed, and hopefully not on you.

"Hey." Baby nudges your leg with his foot, sitting across from you in the van. He's dressed in pastel colours that complement his hair. "You look more confused than usual."

"Rude," you mutter, kicking in back. Baby narrows his eyes, and a war begins.

"Don't make me come back there," Jinu threatens, a hint of teasing to his tone. Romance twists around in the passenger's seat to get a look at you.

"Hi," Romance breathlessly says. "I missed you."

"How are you feeling?" you carefully ask him, halting your war with Baby. Baby grumbles a bit and slouches into his seat.

"Good," Romance answers, grinning from ear to ear. He reaches a hand back, wiggling his fingers. "I missed you."

"Yeah, you said that already." Abs sighs and turns his head to look out the window. He gets a swift elbow strike from Mystery, and a hissed warning about being nice.

"How long does this soul-high last?" you ask Baby, keeping your tone low so Romance can't hear.

Baby shrugs, swatting Romance's hand away as he still waves it around. "It can depend. He's not lethargic, which usually means he should come out of it soon. Why, does it bother you?"

"It's just weird to see him like this," you reply, watching as Romance starts to giggle uncontrollably, his head rolling to the side so his chin rests against his chest. Jinu tries to straighten him, but Romance just giggles harder.

"Hey, do you get periods?" Mystery randomly asks you, completely out of nowhere.

"What?" You blink, sure that you hadn't heard him correctly. There's no way he just brought up your menstrual cycle.

"Periods. Time of the month." Mystery frowns, placing his phone on his lap. "Do you get them?"

"Yeah... Why?" You look around the van to see if anyone else is hearing this. There's no way you're talking to a demon about periods. A demon, which is still so hard to come to terms with.

"No, I was just wondering." Mystery shrugs casually. "I don't think Jinu knows what they are, which will be fun. Will you have to take a day off work?"

"Wait, Jinu doesn't know what a period is?" Your jaw drops, and you crane your neck to get a glimpse of Jinu's face. "Hey, Jinu, please tell me that Mystery is messing around."

Jinu's hands shift on the steering wheel. "Of course I know what a period is," he scoffs. He pauses for a moment before saying, "It's a form of punctuation."

"How do you not know what a period is?" you demand. "This is insane!"

"I lived hundreds of years ago," Jinu explains, a tinge of exasperation to his tone. "I tend to not know certain things."

You take a moment to process that since they're demons, they could have lived centuries ago. Then you gasp and clutch onto your seatbelt. "Why are you driving? Do you even have a license? There's no way you should be allowed to do this!"
