Did you miss me?

You awaken to a gentle rocking. It's a peaceful movement that encourages you to just drift back to sleep. 

But something tickles the back of your brain, telling you to get up. You manage to peel your eyes open, gazing at the ceiling. It's... moving, for some reason.

"Sh," Abs soothes. "Just go back to sleep."

You lift your head, focusing your gaze on him. Abs is still dressed in his concert attire, standing nearby as you gently sway back and forth.

"I'm not- I'm not just going to sleep again," you murmur, rubbing at your eyes. Or at least you try to. You quickly discover that you can't raise your hands. "Abs?"

You look down to find your arms restrained by your side. Your legs are bound as well, by the straps to Mystery's swing. 

Abs gives the swing another gentle push, smiling softly at you. "You're not sleepy anymore? Would some warm milk help? Or I can count sheep for you."

"Abs," you say, closing your eyes. "Please tell me I'm not in Mystery's weird swing. Please, for the sake of everything you hold dearly, tell me that I'm hallucinating."

"Uh..." Abs hesitates. "Jinu- Jinu didn't want you just wandering around until he decided what to do with you, and this was the place that you wouldn't escape so..."

"Let me out?" you plead, fluttering your eyes open. You give Abs your biggest eyes, hoping to win him over. "Please, Abby?"

His breath hitches, and he reaches for you. He pauses and clenches his hand, dragging his bottom lip between his teeth. "I shouldn't... Jinu wouldn't want you free before your punishment..."

"I won't cause any trouble," you lie. You just want to get to the bottom of whatever is going on, and hopefully fix your issues with Jinu before he takes your soul. Or, oh god, spanks you. "If you let me down, I'll sit and cuddle with you. I can't run away if I'm in your arms, can I?"

Abs undoes the restraints and scoops you up into his arms. He settles on the floor, brushing a kiss to your knuckles as he places you onto his lap. "Jinu's pretty mad. Mystery sent Romance to calm him down, but I'm not sure it will work."

Your brain is still slightly foggy, so you rest your head against his chest. "Why would Romance calm him down?"

Abs strokes your back, rubbing circles onto you through your shirt. "Getting mad at Romance is like kicking a puppy. Sending him in usually works to calm people down, but Jinu is pretty pissed right now."

Baby clears his throat, leaning against the doorway. "Jinu wants to see her."

Abs pats your thigh before setting you on your feet. He wraps an arm around your waist to help you walk, since you're dizzy and unstable.

Baby leads the way as Abs carries you down the hall, assumably fed up with you stumbling along with them. He supports your legs with one arm, and your upper portion with the other. You tuck your head into the crook of his neck and let out a heavy sigh.

Baby silently pushes a door open, revealing the rest of the demons. Mystery is flipping through a book in the corner, head tipping up in your direction as Abs brings you in. Jinu is seated on an armchair as Romance sits on the armrest to it.

"You're awake!" Romance straightens but doesn't race over like usual. He glances at Jinu, eyebrows pulling together before he returns his gaze to you.

Jinu points down at his feet, which is where Abs sets you down. He cocks his head, watching you for a moment before giving Romance a slight nudge.

Romance slides off the armrest, padding over to Baby's side. He looks worried, and if Romance is seriously concerned, you are too.

"I've been thinking about what you did," Jinu quietly says. He reaches down, hooking his fingers into your hair before using it as leverage to guide you up onto his lap. He releases his hold and smiles sweetly.

"Jinu-" you begin, stopping yourself when he holds up a hand.

"Don't worry," he says, expression very calm. It's unsettling how much at ease he is. "It's okay, I understand that it was the blood loss. You weren't thinking straight, were you?"

Mystery folds his book shut. "She did lose quite a large amount. It's highly likely that it was effecting her thought process."

"See?" Jinu adjusts you so that your legs are off to one side. "You weren't thinking clearly, so I'm not mad. I don't have to punish you."

So no punishment. And no soul-eating either.

You glance over at Mystery, noticing the small smile that curves at his lips before it vanishes. You're struck by the sudden realization that he lied for you. He saved you from Jinu's wrath, and in such a way that Jinu isn't even suspicious.

You're always impressed by Mystery's intellect. He's subtle about it, so he's always underestimated.

"But it is a shame that the concert didn't go as planned." Jinu's expression hardens, anger flashing over his features. "HUNTRX was there, but the crowd was restless once you shut it down, and they couldn't get to the stage."

You shift, unsure if you should get off him yet. "HUNTRX?"

"They're demon hunters," Baby explains. He rolls out his shoulders, flicking his tongue over a fang. "We don't get along, obviously."

Jinu kisses your forehead, clasping your face between his hands. "Let's get you back to bed so you can rest. And don't worry, you won't be going anywhere soon. You can recover fully right here."

"I'm not going anywhere?" You frown as Jinu picks you up. "But managing? Or- Or just going outside?"

"Nope." Jinu shakes his head, pupils dilating. "We're going to keep you here until we're sure that you're fine again. Maybe a week or two of bedrest? The exact amount doesn't matter, but what does is that you're ours."

Romance nods eagerly. "And no more dating stupid men. You're ours and we won't have any more of it. No more of you being mistreated by them."

"We'll spoil you with gifts, shower you in orgasms, and you'll never want again." Baby reaches out to run his thumb over your lips. "Ours forever. And we mean forever."

"And one day," Jinu says as he walks out of the room with you in his arms, "everyone will know it. Once we destroy the Honmoon, we can keep you safe. The other demons will know not to mess with you either."

"The what?" You look over at Mystery for explanation, but Abs beats him to it.

"It's a barrier that separates the demon world from this one," he informs you, propping your bedroom door open with his foot so Jinu can carry you in. "HUNTRX maintains it with their singing, but we plan to destroy it."

"Stealing their fans takes away from the power of their voice. We take their power, and we can welcome the demons here." Romance fluffs your pillow before Jinu lies you down on the bed. "Then we can kill Gw-"

Mystery clamps a hand over his mouth, voice frantic as he loudly says, "Kill HUNTRX. We'll kill the irritating demon hunters."

"And once demons rules the world," Jinu pulls the sheets up to your chest, "who says we can't have a little human pet?"

"But you won't be human for long." Romance kneels next to the bed, free of Mystery's hold. He nuzzles at your arm, eyes bright with excitement. "I'm going to miss feeding from you once you're a demon."

"Get some rest." Jinu herds the Saja Boys out of your room, smiling at you one last time before shutting the door behind him.
