"Zaria!"

"Kory!"

"And she's casually friends with the queen of Tamaran?" Kyle muttered as Kory practically tackled me to the ground. "As long as she doesn't try to kill me like Razer did."

"Only if you call her 'Princess' by accident," I warned, mid-hug as Kory spun me around like I weighed nothing.

"You've gotten stronger," she beamed, finally setting me down. "And... brighter. Your Lantern suit has changed as well. Very traditional."

"It adapts," I chuckled, deconstructing my mask. "But I think I'll keep this version... Reminds me of home."

Kory's expression softened as she reached out, brushing her fingers gently against the edge of my collar.

"It suits you," she said, voice quiet now, reverent. "You wear the spectrum like a warrior. Like a daughter of Tamaran and of the stars."

"It's good to be home," I said as she turned to the others.

"Welcome, Lanterns of Earth. Tamaran is honored by your presence... even if this visit is under unusual circumstances."

"That's putting it lightly," John muttered, stepping forward. "We're requesting safe harbor, time, and space to conduct a multilateral Council. With your permission, Your Highness."

"You have it," She waved it off. "Zaria is a daughter of Tamaran and always will be. No one enters Tamaranian orbit without my express approval."

"Good," Hal said, giving a respectful nod. "Because what we're about to do may shake more than just orbits... You have a very powerful friend, Koriand'r."

"And you have a very powerful daughter, Hal Jordan." She smiled and linked arms with me. "Come. We must celebrate your arrival with the grandest of feasts before your trial!"

"Trial after a feast? Gotta love royal priorities." Kyle mumbled and I laughed. "As long as they don't have any space scorpions or-"

"They do," I grinned. "Roasted in lava oil and seasoned with starfruit. Very spicy. Very crunchy. And if you dip them in zorka berry sauce? The best thing you'll ever eat in your lifetime!"

"I'm gonna die here."

"No, you're just gonna cry a little and pretend you're not enjoying it," I teased, elbowing him. "Everyone does their first time."

"I swear," he muttered, "between your space murder-dog constructs and your cuisine, I'm starting to think Earth food is a mercy."

"Zaria's right," Kory said, lifting her chin proudly. "The feast is not just tradition, it is our armor. We strengthen the soul before testing the spirit."
