Smut.
And my friends, it's nasty. This is your warning. We all knew what Mystery would be like, and it has finally arrived. It begins after the time skip.
Don't make fun of it if you don't like it. You might ruin it for someone else who's reading it.
Long chapter btw.

Perhaps you're being a bit dramatic about not getting caught. You have a baseball cap on, angles to cast shadows on your face. Your hands are tucked into your pockets, and you're borrowing some of Abs' baggy sweatpants.
Upon further reflection, you look a bit suspicious. Just a bit.
Rumi is sitting in the corner of the drink shop, scrolling on her phone. You can see her eyes above the disposable mask, but that's about it. As if she senses your presence, her gaze snaps up in your direction.
Her eyes narrow as you approach, sitting across from her. There's silence before she finally speaks.
"You're a demon now." It's not a question. She's just stating a fact.
"Yeah, I am." You nod and smile politely at the waiter as he places a glass of water in front of you. "Thank you. This will be fine, unless you have another one of those cupcakes?"
He looks to the dessert you're pointing at that's halfway to Rumi's mouth. The girl has her mask pulled down to her chin to take a bite. He nods and glides away.
"Not by choice." You glance at her. When she stops chewing to scowl, you wave your hands in a panic. "They didn't do it! Don't kill them, please!"
"Who did it, then?" she inquires, swallowing her mouthful down.
"Gwi-Ma," you answer, hating yourself for saying the name. "He... controls some of the demons. Not me, though, so don't worry. He's actually the reason why I wanted to meet up with you."
Rumi stuffs the rest of her cupcake past her lips before tugging her mask back into place. "Yeah? What about him?"
You hesitate, your breath catching in your throat. This is a big decision. Technically you've already made your choice, but this is still a weighted moment. "I want to kill him. I want to kill him, and you're the only person I can think of who can help."
"Because I'm a demon hunter." Rumi bobs her head as she considers it. "Yeah, this sounds like it's up my alley. But why would I help you? You're also a demon."
"Uh, I think I'm a fairly nice one?" you hopefully reply. "I've never taken anyone's soul. And when I was human, I fed the others so that they would take less from innocents. Even though Gwi-Ma makes them do it. So if you think about it... Gwi-Ma is your final enemy. He'll stop putting demons into this world once he's dead."
Rumi sucks in a breath, eyes widening a fraction. "We could stop them once and for all."
"Exactly." You flash a grin at the waiter as he hands you your cupcake. Once he's gone, you return your attention to the purple-haired huntress across from you. "Do this works for the both of us. You stop demons from stealing souls, and I save my- I mean, the Saja Boys."
Rumi raises an eyebrow at you, leaning closer. You stuff the entire cupcake in your mouth. "You seem awfully attached to them. This is a big risk to for a manager to take for her group."
Your phone buzzes before you can respond. You check it before letting out a heavy sigh and getting to your feet. "I have to go. They're asking where I am."
