It's... really happening.

The thought ripples through your mind like a tidal wave, repeating itself over and over as if repetition alone will force the reality to sink in. You stare down at the glowing screen of your phone in disbelief, fingertips trembling slightly, because even holding the device steady takes conscious effort right now.

Very shortly after your acceptance into Huntrix was confirmed, the agency wasted no time. They released a statement, updated their website, and officially announced you as Huntrix's fourth and final member. The words look surreal on the page, too neat, too sharp, almost like they belong to somebody else.

Just earlier today, you took part in your very first photoshoot. The memory is still fresh, almost painfully vivid. The stylists pulled you into a chair, their hands quick and practiced as they worked magic with your hair and makeup. Brushes swept across your face, curling irons twisted strands of your hair into sleek perfection, and layers of carefully chosen clothing were draped and adjusted until you looked like someone completely different—and yet somehow, more like yourself than ever.

You posed for a seemingly endless string of pictures alongside the rest of the girls. Rumi had been effortless, radiating a charismatic energy like she was born for the camera. Zoey had been softer, playful, her laughter cutting through the nervous tension in the room. Mira had been poised and graceful, hitting each angle with precision. And you... well, you stood there, smiling and shifting positions as instructed, feeling more out of your element than you wanted to admit.

It wasn't because you weren't happy. You were. You are, without a shadow of a doubt. But happiness doesn't erase awkwardness. It doesn't instantly remove the uncomfortable self-consciousness that coils inside you whenever the spotlight shines too brightly. The truth is, some of that awkwardness still lingers, clinging to your skin like a shadow that won't wash away.

It's still all so hard to believe.

But now, as you stare at the pictures that are publicly available for everyone to see, there's no denying it anymore. The glossy shots on the company's website don't lie. You're part of Huntrix. You actually made this happen.

"Wow," you can't help but mumble aloud, the word slipping from your lips in a hushed breath. Your cheeks tinge red as warmth blooms under your skin, and you gently press your fingertips against your screen, almost as if you're reaching into the picture itself. Almost as if you're trying to pinch yourself awake.

Honestly, it doesn't matter how difficult it is to fully wrap your head around this. You just need to remind yourself that it's real.

It's real, and nobody can take this away from you. Nobody.

Or so you think.

You spend a few more minutes scrolling through the website, your dazed smile stretching wider with every flick of your thumb. Each photo feels like proof carved into stone, undeniable and permanent. For the first time in what feels like forever, you allow yourself to bask in it—unrestrained, unguarded, euphoric.

Eventually, though, your phone starts buzzing, vibrating insistently in your hand. The jolt startles you from your haze. You fumble for a second, then swipe the call open.

"Hello?"

"[Name]!" Bobby's voice practically explodes from the other end, brimming with excitement. "Okay, listen! Even though the news literally just dropped, people are already buzzing about it! It's blowing up on social media! And we've already got your first interview lined up!"

An interview? Already?

"Oh," you simply say, blinking in surprise. "That was... fast."

"Well, yeah! Huntrix is already super viral, and because of this announcement, the group's become even more of a hot topic! Like you already know, we're scheduled to start recording a song soon, but the fans will want to actually get to know you first. It's a small, private interview, so you won't be in front of an audience or anything. But we need to keep this momentum going and keep building hype. It'll be great for promoting the new single, too! Nobody was expecting another one this soon, so trust me when I say excitement is through the roof!"
