~Dick's POV~
"Nightwing... they're almost here."
Three days.
Three days of scouring for evidence deep in Guardian archives. Three days of reading and rereading Zaria's energy spikes. Three days of not sleeping more than an hour at a time because every time I closed my eyes, I saw a white-lit coffin and her inside it, trying not to disappear.
"Nightwing," Zatanna snapped her fingers in front of me. "They're almost here."
"Heard you the first time, Zee," I muttered, rubbing the visible exhaustion from my eyes.
Hal wasn't any better.
He was currently sprawled out on a bench fast asleep, Ring still glowing bright like it refused to rest even when he did. One arm was thrown over his eyes, the other curled tight like he was holding onto something that wasn't there.
The rest of the Green Lanterns stood in a corner watching as Kyle and John paced around with green holograms, muttering contingencies and backup plans.
Kory and Ryand'r were talking to Arthur, Mera, Kaldur, Troia and Diana. Probably something about royal protocol.
I couldn't bring myself to care.
"Here," Wally muttered, handing me a plate of food. "You've barely eaten in three days."
"How can I?" I scoffed. "My girlfriend's in a containment cell with barely enough to survive while Carol tries to keep her sane... Everyone is losing their collective minds and Hal finally collapsed."
"And you will too if you don't eat something," Wally pressed. "Manhunter made him sleep. It's the only way we can keep him from fully spiraling."
"Kyle," I ignored Wally as he gently set the plate beside me. "Where's the rest?"
"Still on their way," he muttered bitterly. "They're bringing an escort. Kilowog is sending me coordinates every five minutes."
"And Razer?"
"On his way with Saint Walker and the rest of the Spectrum... They pulled Atrocitus and Sinestro from their cells for this."
My stomach twisted at that.
"They're really turning this into a spectacle," I muttered.
